We are excited to share a virtual K-pop industry seminar hosted by K-Pop & Beyond with you!

This is a one-hour virtual seminar series where K-pop meets other sociocultural phenomena to explore meaningful influences and connections.

As our kickoff seminar, the first topic is:

Latin Music & K-Pop: Understanding the Mutual Influence Between Two Global Genres

Our speakers are Javier Parra from The Latin Recording Academy in Miami, known for the Latin Grammys, and Olga Prepis from Downtown Music Publishing in NYC. These two wonderful speakers will engage in a dialogue about how K-pop and Latin music influence each other and what we can learn from their global trajectories.
